1. Despair by Alex Prager
I watched this film at Moma and was blown away!
The actress' facial expressions are so intense and love the surreal sentiments in the end!
2.This one is called Iris directed by Barnary Roper. The CG editing + sound effects adds to the dramatic quality of the video.
3.The one and only gaga + Nicola Formichetti for the legendary Parisian coutourier Mugler menswear S/S 2011.

1. Despair: reminiscent of the films of Hitchcock (The Birds, Marnie, and Rear Window), Douglas Sirk (All That Heaven Allows), and then Todd Haynes' tribute to Douglas Sirk: Far From Heaven. The actress looks a bit like Julianne Moore (from Far From Heaven).
ReplyDelete2. Iris is amazing. I like the seemingly simple use of the stripes as a way to cut to the next scene.
3. What does it mean? Fashion is ephemeral but that tattoo will last forever. Is fashion a way of life like the commitment that man made when he transformed his skin?
